Happy Birthday!

Today marks my middle son Brian's 25th year.  It doesn't seem possible.  I look at him and think back to when I was his age.  I was already married and a mother of one.  I felt so grown-up, yet when I try to imagine him in the same situation, I can't do it! It's not that I don't think he's capable...he's just too young!  Funny how your perspective changes with the years, isn't it?  Anyway, here's a layout I did just recently.  Oh, how I miss that little face!

Oh Give Me A (Retirement) Home...

It's that time of year again.  The 2013 retirement list has been posted and I'm sharing it with you.  These items will be retired as of July 31st.  If any of these things are on your wish list, now is the time to grab them before they're gone.  It's always so sad to see some of my favorites go away but I quickly form new friendships with the incoming products :)

Studio J, ole!

I just got the jpegs for my latest order from Studio J and wanted to show them off!

This first one took me only 15 years to scrapbook!  My guys are all grown up now but I had such fun scrapping it and remembering that day.

This is the Coronado Springs resort in Disneyworld.  We stayed here for convention.  Look how perfectly the Hippity Hop papers match the decor of the buildings!

Here is another oldie.  I scanned the printed photos (no digital back then) and went from there.  I didn't take very good pictures before I scrapbooked so I was very happy that I could enlarge and crop easily this way.

And here are the two single layouts I made out of the posts I wrote both here and on Facebook.  I used a 2 page layout and papers that went with both photos but I will be placing them separately in my scrapbook so they don't look like they were meant to be together.

Gettin' Krafty!

Even though sign-ups for this class are now closed, I thought I'd share the end result with everyone.  I absolutely love our Kraft container!  It's the perfect size to hold a multitude of things.  Or it's a great way to give a gift to someone special.  This one is decorated with Chantilly papers and accessories and features a cool rosette made from the Cricut Artiste cartridge.
